The Mountain Home Lady Tigers played hard but came away with no wins last week in conference girls soccer.

Nampa 4, Mountain Home 0

Mountain Home was shut out at Nampa 4-0 last Tuesday in conference girls soccer.

C.J. Bish had 12 saves on goal as goalkeeper for Mountain Home.

Mountain Home had ten shots on goal.

"We were a little bit soft in the first half and gave up four goals, but we came back really well the second half," said Mountain Home girls soccer coach Stephen Speak.

Caldwell 1, Mountain Home 0

The Lady Cougars broke open a scoreless battle with a goal in the second half, and it held up as Caldwell edged the Lady Tigers 1-0 on Thursday in Mountain Home.

C.J. Bish had a great game protecting the net, stopping 33 attempts on goal.

"We were in it all the way to the end, and we were just waiting for a break," said Coach Speak. "One of these days we'll get a little bit of a break. It's not through lack of commitment. You can see these girls here right now, they've given every ounce of effort and every ounce of courage that we've had today, and as a manager and coach, that's all I can ask for.

"Regardless of the results, these girls go out every day when we play and put themselves on the line. I've got a girl in the hospital and you just cannot doubt the commitment. The commitment is above and beyond. It's amazing every time we go out there!"

Skyview 8, Mountain Home 1

The loss dropped the Lady Tigers to 1-10-1 in league play.
