Soccer Tigers drop 3 conference contests

The Mountain Home Tiger boys soccer team dropped three conference games last week.

Bulldogs 3, Tigers 0

The Tigers hosted the Nampa Bulldogs on Sept. 19 in conference boys soccer at Eastside Park in Mountain Home. The Tigers were unable to get any shots in the net, as they lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. Tomas Guillen had ten saves on goal as goalkeeper for Mountain Home.

Cougars 3, Tigers 0

The Tigers were shut out at Caldwell last Wednesday by the Cougars in conference action. Tomas Guillen had 12 saves on goal for the Tigers.

Skyview 4, Mountain Home 3

The Tigers played one of their best games of the season Saturday at Skyview, leading the Hawks up until the last five minutes of the game, losing 4-3.

Tyler McCloud scored two goals and Caleb Galbraith had one. Tomas Guillen had 16 saves on goal.

"We were ahead until the last five minutes," said Mountain Home Tiger boys soccer coach Jay Lockett. "That was our best complete game."

The Tigers hosted Bishop Kelly on Monday and host Kuna on Saturday. They travel to Middleton on Oct. 3 and close out their regular season with Senior Night against Emmett on Oct. 5.
