Landing gear malfunction damages plane

This light plane suffered $5,000 damage when one of its wheels functionally fell off during landing.

An aircraft made an emergency landing at the Mountain Home Municipal Airport following an incident Sunday.

A student pilot from the Republic of Singapore was practicing his landing abilities at the local airport when he damaged the right landing gear of the Cherokee 140 during an approach.
