Public library expands its computer-based resources

A nationwide effort is helping the Mountain Home Public Library to not only upgrade its inventory of computers, but also overhaul its access to online resources.

Over the past two months, contractors replaced the library's older communication lines with high-speed fiber optic cables, giving it a nearly 20-fold increase in Internet connectivity.
