Committee names AFAD Grand Marshal

A retired civil engineer from Mountain Home Air Force Base who helped develop the AFAD Fun Run/Walk will lead this year's parade during the 51st Annual Air Force Appreciation Day celebration.

Brad Seymour received the grand marshal title during a chamber of commerce meeting Monday afternoon.

"It was a total shock; I never saw it coming," said Seymour, who had no aspirations of becoming a parade grand marshal for Air Force Appreciation Day, or AFAD.
