Tiger signs to Idaho State

Friday, May 27, 2011
Tyler Wright signs his acceptance to play football with Idaho State University as his parents Kin and Eric Wright and coaches Brian Floyd and Tony Kerfoot witness the occasion. A defensive lineman with the Mountain Home Tigers, Wright represented the school during the 15th Annual District III High School Shrine All-Star football games last November. He then went on to remain one of the school's top scorers during this year's basketball season.

Mountain Home Tigers Tyler Wright plans to remain a Tiger -- a Bengal Tiger -- as in an Idaho State University Bengal.

The senior made it official last Wednesday, signing a letter of intent with the Bengals.

Tyler leaves on an LDS mission in March. Once his two-year commitment is up, he plans to return to Idaho and play football at Idaho State University.
