  • We used to do carwashes, bake sales or other fund raisers to fund this type of event back in the old days. Today it seems to be much easier to just stick out your hand. In my mind, this celebration would be appreciated more if it were earned. I know, they went to school for 12 years to earn this, no they went to school for twelve years to earn a diploma. Just my opinion.

  • Come on people. I believe they have earned this. Yes, a car wash or something would help and maybe they are doing that once the weather gets better. However, I feel that these seniors have worked their tush off throughout the school years and I think they deserve a celebration. The school district does not have money to fund something like this and for those who can help, even a little, I feel should help. Yes, it is costing the students money for this celebration. However, that money is not going to cover the cost of everything. They are planning a pretty cool celebration and as we all know, things just arent cheap anymore. All I am trying to say is that before we start bashing anyone asking for donations. Is we stop and think about the students and honestly they really do deserve this.

  • We are fund raising for the event. We have two carwashes scheduled for late April-early May I believe and several bake sales in the works.
