Hacker metal drive aids charity

Students at Hacker Middle School continued this week to collect recycled metal as part of an annual drive that ultimately benefits ailing children across Idaho and neighboring states.

Organized by the school's team building classes, the project includes accepting an assortment of recyclable material, including iron, tin, metal pipes and aluminum cans.

The students earn a movie day if they break an initial goal of 300 pounds of recycled metal.
