Friday, March 11, 2011

Mountain Home High School will once again be well represented at the National Forensic Leagues National Speech and Debate Tournament this summer, as five students have already qualified while seven others are on the alternates list.

The 2011 NFL National Tournament will take place June 13-19 in Dallas, Texas. Only the top two finishers in last weekend's district qualifiers advance to the National Tournament.

Senior Melodie Lettkeman qualified for nationals in Student Congress, marking her third year of qualifying for nationals. Lettkeman was also an alternate in Dramatic Interpretation and Policy Debate with partner Jenna Knutson. Lettkeman is currently in the top 100 in the nation in overall NFL points.
