Clyva "Giget" G. Floyd, 64, of Mountain Home, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at a Boise hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise.

Clyva was born on Nov. 16, 1946, in Springfield, Mo., and grew up in Newbury, Mo.

She moved to San Antonio, Texas, in 1965, were she met Thomas Floyd. They married in Seguin, Texas, on July 12, 1968. They moved to Idaho in 1970.

Together, they had a son, James.

Cylva worked at Mountain Home Air Force Base for 20 years.

She enjoyed gardening and nature.She also loved fishing and her pets.

Cylva is survived by her son, James, and his wife, Cara Floyd, two granddaughters, all of Idaho, a sister, Andra Palmer of Texas, a brother, Garry Kelley of Ohio and numerous other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and both her parents.
