Following months of repairs and renovations, a local veterans group formally dedicated its new post headquarters during a ceremony Thursday afternoon.

Serving the needs of more than 120 members in the Mountain Home community, the building marks a new beginning for American Legion Post 101, according to former post commander Mike Thurlow.

"It's a great place now; a great place for Post 101," added Harold Booth, the post's current commander.
