Art students at Mountain Home High School pulled their creative energies together in recent weeks to promote efforts aimed at finding a cure for cancer.

During their community outreach project, members of the school's Artopia Club used an assortment of art mediums to decorate dozens of white paper bags for use during the upcoming Relay for Life rally in Mountain Home.

Scheduled to run from 7 p.m. July 29 to 7 a.m. July 30 at Eastside Park, the relay serves as the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society in its quest to find a cure for this disease.
