Police seek leads in purse snatching case

Mountain Home police need the public's help to track down this man in connection with a purse-snatching incident Jan. 12. He's described as a heavy-set, white male about 5 feet, 6 inches in height. The suspect was dressed in brown pants, brown coat and brown hat and last seen driving a gold or tan minivan from Wal-Mart between 7:30 and 9 a.m. Jan. 12.

The Mountain Home Police Department issued an advisory asking for the public's help to track down a suspect in connection with a robbery.

Police received a report of a stolen purse Jan. 12, and during an initial investigation learned that it contained a credit card the suspect tried to use at the local US Bank.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set, white male about 5 feet, 6 inches in height with a beard and mustache. He was dressed in brown pants, brown coat and brown hat and last seen driving a gold or tan minivan from Wal-Mart between 7:30 and 9 a.m. that day.
