It was disrespectful

Dear editor:

I was offended today when I went to city hall to pay my water bill and posted on the door was this notice. "We will be closed Jan. 17 in observance of human rights day." It is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. If you are going to take the time off because it is a federal holiday you should call it what it is named.

Shame on Glenns Ferry City Hall for disrespecting such a great man.
