Bruneau Valley Library opens fall luncheon program

Tuesday, October 5, 2010

The Bruneau Valley Library will open its fall luncheon program series Wednesday, October 20th with Lynda Campbell Clark as its first speaker. Ms Clark wears many hats as an author, editor, former adjunct professor and community volunteer. Currently she works as a grant writer for the City of Nampa.

Ms. Clark's presentation is made possible in part through the generosity of the Idaho Humanities Council, as she is a member of their Speakers' Bureau. Her presentation will be "Settling in the Midst of Sagebrush; Life in Early Southwest Idaho." She is well acquainted with early life in this area from her research in writing her book Nampa, Idaho: A Journey of Discovery published for Nampa's centennial.

Lunch will be served at noon at the Library in downtown Bruneau followed by the program. There is no charge; however, the Library requests that anyone wishing to attend contact the Library by Monday October 18th. Reservations can be made by calling Ginny at 845-2282
