The Mountain Home Lady Tigers won two of three soccer games last week, both on the road.

Mountain Home 5

Emmett 0

Mountain Home returned to the win column Monday at Emmett, downing the Lady Huskies 5-0.

Rachel Warila had three goals in the game and Shelby Henrick and Jessica Tindall also scored goals.

Amanda Klitzke had five saves.

With the win, the Lady Tigers improved to 3-5-1 in conference play.

Skyview 5, Mountain Home 0

Skyview broke open a close game in the second half to down Mountain Home 5-0 at Eastside Park in Mountain Home Wednesday.

"It was a tough loss," said Mountain Home girls soccer coach Mike Fisher. "We had a good start, but the goals (by Skyview in the first half) weren't spectacular, they just kind of rolled in. We found ourselves down 2-0 in the first half and we couldn't quite claw our way back out."

Mountain Home 5, Jerome 0

Mountain Home traveled to Jerome Saturday and came away with a 5-0 non-conference win.

Rachel Warila had two goals and an assist. Mady Vines had a goal and an assist and Tara Boerman and Kelly Robins also scored goals. Amanda Klitzke had 14 saves on goal.

"We had a slow start and only led 1-0 at the half," said Coach Fisher, "but the girls played much better in the second half and got a nice win."

Mountain Home improved to 4-6-1 on the season with the win at Jerome. They hosted Columbia on Monday, travel to Middleton today, and host Jerome on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
