Shriners to hold free screenings for ailing children

The Elmore County Shrine is joining with Shriners from throughout the Treasure Valley to sponsor a screening clinic for children who might be able to use the services of Shriners hospitals.

The screening will be held Satuday, Oct. 2, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Idaho State University Meridian Campus, 1311 E. Central Dr., Meridian.

Children up to age 18 are eligible for care at Shriners Hospital for Children, and international pediatric specialty care system, if there is a reasonable possibility they can benefit from the services available.
