Thursday, September 23, 2010
The 390th Fighter Squadron will make its last flight over the skies of Idaho this Thursday.

The last two F-15C Eagles in Idaho belonging to the 390th Fighter Squadron will depart Mountain Home Air Force Base Thursday morning.

The jets will become part of the Florida Air National Guard's 125th Fighter Wing, based in Jacksonville, Fla.

On Sept. 11, 1992, Air Force re-designated the 390th Electronic Combat Squadron, which flew EF-111A Ravens, as the 390th Fighter Squadron, and the unit began flying the F-15C Eagle.
