Each class has decorated their respective hallways in various "park" themes. The senior, junior and sophomore hall locations remained the same as in the past, but with freshmen now a part of the high school their hallway is in the annex building.

The senior theme is based on a circus park, the juniors an amusement park, sophomores feature a haunted house and freshmen have a water park.

The theme of this year's homecoming is "Domination: A Stroll Through the Park."

Throughout the week students will dress up in various themes. Monday was "Fancy Shmancy Day," Tuesday was "Animal Day," today is "Celebrity Look-alike Day," Thursday is "Future Day" and Friday is the traditional "Tiger Day."

A number of activities have been scheduled during the lunch time throughout the week. The freshmen class hosted a dance-off on Monday, the sophomores offered karaoke on Tuesday, the juniors will set up an obstacle course today and Thursday the seniors will hold a sandcastle building competition.

Several activities are held in the evenings during the week.

Monday featured the annual Macho Man volleyball game between the junior and senior boys and Tuesday, the freshmen and sophomores squared off in a dodgeball competition.

Tonight is the always popular Powderpuff Football game. The flag football competition between the junior and senior girls begins at 7 p.m. at Tiger Field. Admission is $2 per person or two cans of food for the local food bank.

Friday is the big day for homecoming.

The homecoming assembly in the high school gym will include a number of skits and class competitions, and serve as a pep rally for the game that night. The assembly will be followed by the homecoming parade. The parade will go from the school down 10th East Street to Jackson Street, pass by Hacker Middle School and proceed to downtown, where it will then work its way to American Legion Boulevard, proceeding up that avenue to 14th East Street.

A tailgate party begins at about 5:30 p.m. at Tiger Field, with the game against Middleton beginning at 7 p.m.
