Pineda hearing moved

A Wendell man will return to magistrate court Nov. 19 to face four counts of felony vehicular manslaughter for his role in a fatal car crash.

Eusebio J. Pineda stands accused of causing the head-on collision near Glenns Ferry that killed four members of a California family Aug. 12.

Originally, Pineda was scheduled to appear in Elmore County Magistrate Court on Aug. 31 to conclude his preliminary hearing on the charges. However, his defense attorney filed a continuance from this original date to review the results of blood-alcohol tests as well as additional police reports.
