Ryder Cole McRae, 12, of Mountain Home, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in a Boise hospital due to injuries from an accident.

A viewing will be held at noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Ryder was born on Aug. 15, 1998, in Boise, the son of Patti (Wood) Cash and James McRae, Jr.

He had just started his seventh grade at Mountain Home Junior High School.

He loved playing Optimist Baseball and Optimist Football. He enjoyed the computer, playing Xbox games, he also enjoyed playing Magic and spending time at Wonder Trails, cooking, being with people and hoarding things. Ryder did not like change, but loved pushing his brother's buttons.

Ryder is survived by his mother, Patti, and step-father, Ryan Cash, his father, Jim McRae, his brother, Ty, his maternal grandparents, Carol and Donald Wood, all of Mountain Home, his uncle and aunt, Jim and Evelyn Wood, his cousins, David and Caitlyn, and his aunt, Inez Russell.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up to assist the family at Pioneer Federal Credit Union.
