The new volleyball court in Richard Aquirre Park represents "one of the most significant improvements to Mountain Home parks this year... a total volunteer effort that cost the city nothing," said Floyd Beck, who spearheaded the project.
Beck's idea began several weeks ago during a meeting with Mayor Tom Rist.
"When Floyd approached us with an idea of doing this for the city, we said we throught it was a good idea," Rist said.

To MHresident, The advertising is all around the volleyball court. It's very nicely done.
Way to go Floyd and citizens of Mtn. Home, amazing what we can accomplish together as a community!
Where is all the advertizing that this guy sold, to help pay for this venture. If its been put up somewhere, I haven't seen it.
Happy to read this too!

This is an obvious hoax. No recreation can happen without the WRECD and decades of hoarding tax dollars.
This is great to read. Quality of life in Mtn Home needs to improve and this is a small but great step forward.
