Getting into the Colonial spirit

Hayley Weyandt enjoys her first game of marbles during the Colonial Days festival Saturday at the Mountain Home Public Library. Held in conjunction with the national Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Library Traveling Exhibit at the library, the event featured demonstrations how to make beeswax candles and hand-made ice cream. In addition to marbles, children had a chance to play games enjoyed by children during the colonial period.
