Thursday, July 15, 2010
An Idaho Rally competitor goes airborne while competing in last year's race. The rally returns to Elmore County on Friday with one of the race stages planned for the Pine and Prairie area.

The Idaho Rally will come to Elmore County again this year, with one of its stages planned for Friday, July 16, in the Pine and Prairie area.

On Thursday, July 15, the rally will commence with a Super Special Stage at Expo Idaho and then follow up with stages on backcountry roads Friday and Saturday. The rally will conclude with another Super Special Stage at Expo Idaho on Saturday night.

A Super Special Stage is a special relatively short stage of a rally run in an arena setting -- or in this case in a specially built race area in the parking lot of Expo Idaho.

  • The Super Special Stage was great fun to watch and I was a volunteer so I also got to deal with the drivers. Come on out & bring a picnic - crazy fast cars and awesome weather in the Boise National Forest roads around Arrow Rock and Prairie. WOOHOO!!!
