Lisa Contreras

Lisa Contreras, 49, a Mountain Home resident for 17 years, died June 30, 2010, in a San Antonio hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, on March 2, 1961, she was the only daughter of four children born to Emma Viers.

Lisa and Michael Contreras were married on July 31, 1999, in Mountain Home, Idaho.

In 2005, she opened her own business in Mountain Home, American Eagle Realty, in which she was a realtor and broker.

She was a member of the Nazarene church in Mountain Home.

In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by husband of 11 years, Michael Contreras of Mountain Home; daughter and son-in-law Natalie and Christopher Bernard of Tacoma Wash.; daughter and son-in-law Lauren and William King of Boise, Idaho; daughters Brandi Hall and Bella Contreras, of Mountain Home; her one and only grandson, Crimson King, of Boise; three brothers, Karim Torres of San Antonio, Texas, Everret Torres of Austin, Texas, and Joel Torres of Snoqualmie, Wash., and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her step-father, Jerry Poth.

Lisa will be sadly missed. Please join us in a celebration of her life on Friday, July 16, at 11 a.m., at the Nazarene Church, 950 N. 7th East St., in Mountain Home. Pastor Ivan Shetler will officiate.
