Football camp starts June 30

Korey Hall played high school football at Glenns Ferry High School as both a linebacker and running back and currently plays fullback for the Green Bay Packers.

The Second Annual Korey Hall Football Camp will be held June 30 at Glenns Ferry High School.

Hall currently is a fullback for the Green Bay Packers. He played high school football at Glenns Ferry as both a linebacker and running back and was named the Class 2A Player of the Year in 2001. At Boise State University where he was a three-time first team all-WAC linebacker and two-time WAC Special Teams Player of the Year, he helped lead the Broncos to their first Fiesta Bowl victory.

Players will be coached on fundamentals and technique by former Boise State players Andrew Browning, Taylor Tharp, Mike T. Williams, Jerard Rabb, Hall and current Boise State Bronco Derrell Acrey. The camp is for youths ages12-18.

Campers will be given lunch and a T-shirt after the event and will have a chance to get autographs from various players.

The middle school session, for youths ages 12-14 years old, will start at 8 a.m. The high school session, for those 15-18 years old, will begin at noon.

The camp is free, however campers "are expected to be serious about learning and having fun playing the game of football," Hall said.
