Abbey, Shain tie the knot

Robert and Linda Abbey of Mountain Home have announced the wedding of their daughter, Heather Lea Abbey, to Derek Anthony Shain, son of Ricky and Stacy Shain of Alamogordo, N.M.

The couple were married May 24, 2010, at White Sands National Park in New Mexico, with a reception following the next day at the groom's family home.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Mountain Home High School and currently is serving with the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio.

The groom is a graduate of Alamogordo High School and also is serving with the Air Force at Wright-Patterson.
