Paint the Town spruces up 10 homes

Friday, June 18, 2010
Volunteers from Mountain Home Air Force Base painted 10 homes in the city Saturday.

Throughout Mountain Home Saturday teams from Mountain Home Air Force Base gathered to help "Paint the Town."

The annual event featured ten homes in the community in need of paint and repairs. The homes belonged to elderly or disabled individuals who were unable to do the work themselves.

One of the homes being painted belonged to Alice Caler at Space 349 in the KOA mobile home park. There, three dozen members of the 366th Equipment Maintenance Squadron and 366th MS/MTF units on base, as well as their children, blanketed the mobile home. In just a few hours they had completely renovated the exterior of the home.
