Local teen sets sights on national motocross crown

Just months after winning her seventh back-to-back state motocross title, a Mountain Home teen has now set her sights on a national crown after qualifying during regional-level competition.

Cierah "C.J." Bish finished third during regional finals held over the weekend in California to earn one of 42 seats at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships.

The 13-year-old became the first girl from Idaho to qualify for the championship event, which starts Aug. 2 in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.
