A memorial service will be held at a later date, at the Mountain Home Church of the Nazarene, to celebrate her life. Graveside services will follow at the Hagerman Cemetery. Glenna, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all she left behind, is safe with loved ones. There is no more pain or sorrow.
Glenna rejoins those that took this step before her - her husband, one daughter, her parents, six of her seven brothers and even a grandchild and a great-grandchild, as well as many dear friends and relatives. Take peace that they are rejoicing with her now.
Glenna was married to Chuck Hoagland, who was awarded both a Silver Star and a Bronze Star in WWII. They were married for 33 years before he died in 1987. They had four children: Loree (deceased), David, Sam and Idalee, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She loved horses all her life, and the highlight of her short political career took her to the White House for lunch with President Reagan.
Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
