Louise M. King, 69, of Mountain Home, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at a Boise hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 7, at the First Congregational Church in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Louise was born in New York, N.Y., on Oct. 30, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Marylla King, Jr. The family moved to Studio City, California when she was 13 years old.

Louise later married and divorced. She went on to raise her daughter, Lori, by herself. Together they became involved with Jobs Daughters.

In 1994, Louise moved to Idaho to be with her daughter and grandsons. Soon after Louise joined Amaranth and was active in the Emerald Court #4, having served her court twice as Royal Matron and the Grand Court as Grand Royal Matron with her dear friend Don Thoen by her side.

She was also a member of Miriam Chapter #16, Order of the Eastern Star and Iras Temple #40, Daughters of the Nile.

Louise was our deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be forever missed by those whose lives she touched.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Lori, and her husband, Chris Albright, her grandsons, David Jr. and his wife, Crystal Strauch, Charles Strauch, James Stevenson-Albright, her great-granddaughter Katherine Strauch, and her great-grandsons, Ashton Strauch, Eddie Kinsman and Nathan Kinsman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles.
