Dan was born on June 2, 1974, in Austin, Texas, to Capt. Armand and Terry Hebert. He attended public schools in Virginia and Mountain Home. He graduated from Mountain Home High School with the Class of '92.

He was a creative artist and a drummer in the high school band, and was very gifted with repairing and building things. He was everyone¹s go-to fix it guy. He had a passion for stripping cars down and rebuilding them, especially his Volkswagen Bug and a 1965 Mustang.

After graduation, Dan married his best friend, Becky Bennett, at her family's cabin in Featherville. During their marriage, they had two beautiful boys, Clayton Ross and Tyler Daniel, who meant the world to him. Dan was passionate about teaching his sons how to live, have fun and be good boys. He was and always will be their "Papa Bear." They were his traveling buddies, who both skied, fished, skateboarded and rode dirt bikes.

Dan enjoyed being an active outdoorsman. A thrill seeker, leisure time for Dan meant shredding powder on his snowboard, riding motorcycles, river and deep sea fishing, camping, big game hunting with his dad, paragliding, white water rafting, vacationing, listening to music and making memories. One of his favorite destinations was to visit the family farm on Vashon Island, Wash.

He was active in the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home.

Dan worked for several years in the base housing maintenance on Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB) and his final position was as an HVAC Journeyman at S.C. Jones Services on MHAFB.

Dan and Becky later divorced but they remained best friends always.

Dan went on to spend his last two years with Kacey Phares and her children, Sydney and Brandon. Dan will always be remembered by his family and friends for his devotion to

others, his huge loving heart, warm soul, unique sense of humor and quick wit. He could melt you with his charming wink and a smile. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Dan is survived by his two sons, Clayton and Tyler Hebert of Mountain Home, his father, Armand Hebert of Mountain Home, his mother, Terry Martindale, of Vashon Island, Wash., and sister Sarah Hebert of MountainHome, his half brother, Kenneth Hebert, and his half sister, Nancy Hebert, both of Arizona, his girlfriend, Kacey Phares, and her two children of Mountain Home, his ex-wife, Becky Bennett, and her son, Shane Hiddleston, both of Mountain Home, his dear Seth Knudsen of Boise, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah E. Martindale, R. G. "Satch" Martindale of Vashon Island, Albertine and Albert Hebert of Biddeford, Ma., and his dog, Buster.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a memorial fund for Clay and Tyler Hebert at Wells Fargo Bank.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to all who have graciously been there for us in person, in prayers and through such a tremendous outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
