Good Smaritans

On April 3rd, 2010 we were at the WalMart in Mt. Home shopping for groceries as we usually drive up from Owyhee twice a month to do this. My wife, Amber, and I were unloading our bags into our car and I had my debit card in my hand while doing this. We finished and headed down American Legion Blvd. to the Maverick to fuel up. It was then I noticed I lost my card. We quickly scanned the car to no avail. We then quickly went back up to the parking space at WalMart we had and couldn't find anything. Amber went in to customer service and inquired if anyone turned in a debit card. The customer service person asked her name and said she could only give that info to the cardholder. I then went in and showed my ID and got my card back! I quickly asked who turned it in and she said the lady had left and didn't leave her name. I was disappointed as I wanted to give that person a token of our appreciation. It was one of those things that just makes your day.

To sum this up, my faith in humanity had been restored during this economic and politically fueled economy. I want to thank the people of Mt. Home and WalMart for their honesty, integrity and hospitality. We will always support Mt. Home businesses and economy.
