Golfers place at match

The Mountain Home Tigers competed at Ridgecrest Golf Course in Nampa last Tuesday, the boys coming in third and the girls fourth.

Middleton won the boys competition, shooting a 159 team total. Skyview was second with a 178, just one shot ahead of Mountain Home. Kuna was fourth with 191.

Stephen Elliott led the Tiger golfers, shooting a 43, which tied him for seventh. Zach Pomerantz and Brent Sexauer both shot a 45 and Clint Butori was a stroke back at 46.

Middleton also won the girls competition, shooting a 189 total. Ontario was second with a 201, Skyview came in at 213, Mountain Home shot a 235 and Kuna did not field a complete team.

Alicen Wendall led the Mountain Home girls with a 54, which placed her ninth. Shelby Stevens came in with a 58, Melanie Bates carded a 61 and Kelsey Egusquiza was a stroke back at 62.
