ITD to renumber portion of Grand View Highway
In an announcement earlier this week, the Idaho Transportation Department announced plans to renumber a section of State Highway 67 by May 1.
The initiative includes renumbering a 16-mile section of highway from Grand View to the Airbase Road turnoff, commonly known as the Grand View Highway.
After May 1, this section of road becomes State Highway 167 and eliminates the Idaho 67 spur designation -- a roughly one-mile section of road stretching from the intersection to the Air Force base. Meanwhile, Idaho 67 would stretch nine miles from the base's main gate to the city of Mountain Home.
