Deputy clerk announces bid for county job

Barbara Steele has announced her candidacy for Elmore County Clerk on the Republican ballot in the May 25 primary election.

Steele is running against her boss, first-term incumbent Marsa Plummer. No Democrat filed for the seat, so the May election will determine the next county clerk.
