Robert "Bob" A. Negri, 70, of Mountain Home, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at his home, following an illness.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Friday, Jan. 22, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Bob was born and raised in Reading, Pa.
After school Bob joined the US Air Force in 1958. He was stationed in different bases around the world and in the U.S., including Mountain Home Air Force Base. He completed two tours in Vietnam and received a medical retirement in 1981.
Bob married Maxine Overman in Paul, Idaho, on Dec. 26, 1965. Together they had two children.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting baseball cards and watching high school sports.
He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
He especially loved his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by: his wife, Maxine, of Mountain Home; his son, Michael, and his wife, Barbara, of Parma; his son, William, and his wife, Christine, of New Mexico; his brother, Timothy Negri, of Pennsylvania; his sisters, Dolly Mylneck of Pennsylvania, Pat Ohlinger of Ohio, Shirley Schowalter of Pennsylvania, and Janet Hill of Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
