From left, Robby Woodland and Martin Ytuarte spread concrete along a new pathway at Railroad Park on Monday. The finished pathway will include five concrete pads large enough to hold picnic tables or park benches. Both men work for Ytuarte Concrete in Mountain Home.
Four years after its creation, the city's Urban Renewal District launched the next in a series of planned improvements to the downtown area last week as local contractors built a new pathway at Railroad Park.

Winding 325 feet along Main Street between American Legion Boulevard and East 2nd North Street, the project includes five concrete pads along the trail to hold picnic tables or park benches.

In addition, contractors will raise a 15-foot clock tower facing out to Main Street with plans to eventually extend the walkway to East 5th North Street near Albertson's.
