Vet day ceremonies set

The American Legion Post 26 will conduct its annual Veterans Day ceremony at Mountain View Cemetery, honoring all veterans and active duty military, on Nov. 11 beginning at 11 a.m.

The event will feature guest speakers and a presentation of wreaths honoring veterans.

Any person or organization wishing to present a wreath should contact the American Legion at 587-3447.

American Legion Post No. 26 will host a bean and cornbread luncheon after the ceremony at the American Legion Hall. The public is being encouraged to attend both the ceremony and luncheon.
