Walter "Wayne" DeForest, 54, of Mountain Home, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at a local hospital.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at Adrianšs Club, 240 S. Main St., in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Wayne grew up in Bruneau, until he was 19. Then he moved to Buhl and married his first wife, Betty. He worked in the farming industry for 25 plus years. He married his second wife, Jackie, in 1994 and a couple years later they moved to Mountain Home.
Wayne worked for Arrillaga Trucking until his health could not permit him anymore.
Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and taking road trips with his good friend Tree.
Wayne is survived by his brother Dan DeForest of Oregon, his sister Marcia and her husband Steve Henke of Mountain Home, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents Roy and Anne DeForest, and his brothers Bob Sherman and Butch DeForest.
