Louise B. Sanford

Louise B. Sanford, 82 of Mountain Home, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2009 at her home. A Viewing will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel and burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Louise was born on April 22, 1927 in Waynesville, North Carolina to Ulyus and Bessie Burrell. She married Leon Sanford on May 21, 1951, and together they traveled during his Air Force career. After the Air Force they managed the Park Central Apartments for 28 years, retiring in 2005.

Louise was a member of the Mountain Home and Elmore County C.O.P.'s and she loved bowling and her grandkids. She also enjoyed Artex painting and selling Avon.

Louise is survived by her husband Leon Sanford of Mountain Home, her son Ronald and his wife Sharon Cagle of Mountain Home, her daughter Donna Stewart of North Carolina, her daughter Patricia Ann Ingalls of Massachusetts, her sister Ruby Christopher of North Carolina, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents.
