Optimist football camp set

The Optimist Football non-contact camp will be held July 23-24 from 6-8 p.m., and July 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at Eastside Park.

A barbecue will follow the final day's activities for participants and families.

The cost of the camp is $25.

The camp, run by Optimist staff, is designed for all athletes interested in participating in the Optimist programs. It will emphasize correct fundamentals including blocking, tackling and other skills.
