The Mountain Home Historical Museum will host its regular Thursday Luncheon on July 9 at noon.

The date has been changed from the regular first Thursday of each month due to July 4th holiday.

City Councilman Richard Urquidi will be the guest speaker. The Urquidi family recently toured Spain and visited with Basque family members as they experienced the sights and tastes of the region. Urquidi will be sharing pictures, regional Basque history and stories of their family adventure to Spain.

For the month of July, the Rowett Display Case is showcasing the Basque culture. The display was designed by Urquidi.

The museum is located at 180 S. 3rd East St. and can be reached by calling 587-6847.
