Streeter finishes 9th at state golf

Shayla Streeter represented Mountain Home well at the State 4A Golf Tournament in Rigby last week. Streeter opened the tournament with an 81 on the first day, which put her in fifth place, just four shots out of first place, but shot a 99 on the second day to finish in ninth place.

The Tiger boys golf team shot a first day 373 combined total, and came in with a 383 on the second day to finish with a 756 total, good for ninth place.

Moscow won the boys tournament with a two-day total of 647.

Travis Goldsby led Mountain Home, shooting 89-91-180, one shot ahead of Zach Pomerantz, who came in at 90-91-181.

Stephen Elliott came in with a 95-100-195, Nick Reynolds fired a 99-101-200 and Tyler Bennett shot a 99-116-215.
