Tiger boys basketball coaches hand out season honors to team members

Letters and honors were handed out last Wednesday night at the Mountain Home Tiger boys basketball awards banquet.

Tiger boys varsity basketball coach Tony Kerfoot handed out team awards as well as letters to his team, which finished third in district and qualified for the 4A State Tournament.

The Player of the Year award went to Alex Campbell. Campbell and D.J. Elliott earned First Team All-Conference awards, and Kyle Kerfoot and Danny Snelgrow both were tabbed Honorable Mention All-Conference.

The Most Improved Player award went to Deion Brown. The Most Inspirational Player award went to Dallin Dean and the Mr. Hustle award went to Kyle Kerfoot.

Rich Suber handed out team awards to his JV squad. Brock Morris earned the Mr. Hustle award, Aaron Hobbs was tabbed Most Improved Player, Cody Ramos earned the Offensive Player of the Year award, and Damian Soliz was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year.

Dallin Rupp handed out team awards to his frosh-soph team, which won the District III 4A Sophomore Tournament.

The Most Improved Player award went to Ricky Castillo. Colton Zamora received the Mr. Hustle Award, Enrique Verela was tabbed Most Inspirational Player, and Tyler Wright received the Player of the Year Award.
