Grace was born April 19, 1907, in El Lorrio Vizcaya, Spain, to Ignacio and Antonia Berriochoa, the sixth of nine children. The family immigrated to the United States settling in the Dietrich / Shoshone area where she spent her childhood and school years. In 1929, she married Julian Paguegui. They eventually made their home in Twin Falls, where she remained until his death on Nov 8, 1947. She moved to Mtn Home in 1948. In 1949 she married Emile Letellier. He passed away on April 14, 1987. She worked as a short order cook and a meat wrapper until her retirement in 1977. She continued to live in her home until May of 2007, at which time she moved to Boise.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Good Counsel parish and enjoyed many of its activities with the companionship of her good friend Eva. Mom was frequently asked the key to her longevity -- she had two answers; "Don't be greedy and keep your mouth shut." She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed.
Grace is survived by her daughter Toni White of Boise, her son Julian Paguegui of Nampa, her sister Margaret Sartor of Bellevue, WA, three granddaughters, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, five brothers and two husbands.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Our Lady of Good Counsel Building Fund, P.O. Box 310, Mtn Home, Id 83647.
