Summer art camp sign-ups begin

The annual Mountain Home Art Camp will be held June 2-5 this year.

Designed to help children develop a life-long love for art, the camp will be taught by Brenda Raub, artist and art teacher at Mountain Home High School. Camp activities each day will run from 9 a.m. until noon for 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old children.

Children ages 8-10 will attend the camp from 1-4 p.m. each day.

The cost of the camp is $80, which includes all supplies and snacks.

"Art is a perfect way to keep kids happily busy and it's a great hobby for them to do on their own time once they learn some techniques," Raub said.
