McKenna Charter High School to open new facility Thursday

Thursday, February 26, 2009
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new building for McKenna Charter High School is set Thursday.

Richard McKenna Charter High School will hold the official ribbon cutting for its new building at 675 S. Haskett St. this Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

The school moved from its current location at 1993 E. 8th North St., where it had been sharing a building with the Idaho Department of Commerce and Labor office.

The project broke ground on April 16, and cost $2.3 million. The three acres of land that the school purchased cost $186,500. See the mountainhomenews for the complete story.
