Public workshops helping to drive city revitalization

Citizens broke up into teams to "rebuild" downtown and the rest of the city during last week's workshop.

The revitalization of downtown Mountain Home served as the focal point for the first of four public workshops that began last Tuesday night.

The workshop, held at the Bengoechea Hotel, marks the first step in the development of an "action plan" to implement the city's current downtown redevelopment plan.

"Our job is to say, this is the vision and what steps can we take towards that together," said Delta James, a planning specialist for Sage Community Resources.See the mountainhomenews for the complete story.
