Crafters sought for fair

Sunday, February 15, 2009

The Elmore County Fair is gearing up for a new season and is looking for crafters and country collectibles to be featured at the July 13-18 event in Glenns Ferry.

Fair director Shae Burns is promoting "Christmas in July" for the vendor area, which will be open July 15-18.

"If you are a woodworker, doll or quilt maker, if you create fabulous jewelry or are a great leather worker you are exactly what we are looking for," she said. "If you aren't a crafter but you peddle magnificent creations that would fit in with the 'craft fair' feel, we want you, too."

Anyone interested in receiving an application for space should call Burns at 587-2136 ext. 287. Applications will be sent out starting Feb. 15.
